Payroll/HR Operative

The Role:

To process the company’s payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Collecting, calculating and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.

Payroll

  • Payroll reconciliations and cost analysis.
  • Logging absence, holiday, statutory leave into the payroll system.
  • Verify timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepancies
  • Respond and resolve queries from employees and management relating to payroll.
  • Develop the payroll function to ensure it continues to meet the business needs.
  • Ensuring overtime and expenses are signed off by the correct level of authorisation before payment
  • Processing year end reports

Administration

  • Maintain CleanLink employee and client information.
  • Maintain and update the CleanLink Client Portal
  • Set up and process new/leaving employees.
  • Collect employee attendance information
  • Answering the phone and directing calls accordingly.
  • HR Duties, including creating and sending employment contracts

Company Relations

  • Provide Managers with accurate and timely information on budgets.
  • Liaise with the Welfare Officer to monitor employee attendance

  • Cleaning Operatives
  • On Site Cleaning Supervisors, Area Supervisors, Mobile Operatives and On Site Supervisors
  • Welfare Officer
  • Operations Director and Financial Director

Benefits:

  • £22,500 increasing to £25,000 upon successful completion of probationary period
  • Based on a 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday.
  • 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
